The Technology Consultant provides assistance with technology related problems to South Central Kansas Library System member libraries and to staff at the System Facility.

  • Software installations and troubleshooting, including but not limited to:
    • Microsoft Office
    • Antivirus and Antispyware
    • Public access computer security programs
  • Hardware installations and troubleshooting, including but not limited to:
    • PC re-configuration and repair
    • Printer setup and maintenance
    • Installation and setup of computer peripherals
  • Technology workshop training pertaining to:
    • Software evaluation and installation
    • Hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • On site technical support and repair
  • Network wiring repair
