Competitive Automation Matching Grant
The South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) Annual Competitive Automation Matching Grant Program started in 2003 in an effort to assist the SCKLS membership with first-time, upgrade, system migration and data enhancement automation projects.
Overview
This grant is a competitive program with each grant being reviewed by peers from member public, school, academic, and special libraries. Currently, this program provides $50,000 in grant funds with a maximum award of $25,000 per awarded application. Any funds remaining after the initial two awards are offered to the third ranking grant award.
Libraries and/or school districts who receive an Annual Competitive Automation Matching Grant may only apply once every five years. Those libraries who submit an application, but are not awarded a grant may apply again the following year. Projects already completed are not eligible for this grant.
