Annually, the South Central Kansas Library System has $45,000 available
for Continuing Education Registration Reimbursement Grants. Eligibility
is open to public, school, academic, and institutional member library
staff, as well as public library trustees who are attending
trustee-related programs or conferences during the 2017 calendar year.
Funded activities should occur between January 1 and December 31, 2017.
The deadline for submission is December 31, 2017. Grants in accordance with eligibility guidelines may be awarded
in amounts up to $750.
The purpose of the grant is to reimburse member librarians, staff, or
public library trustees for registration costs to attend library-related
continuing education activities during the grant funding calendar year.
Other costs, such as travel, food, lodging, and textbooks are the
responsibility of the member library, librarian or trustee.
