For those libraries that applied for a KAN-ED Subsidy please be on the
lookout for a letter from the Kansas Board of Regents.

DO NOT THROW THIS LETTER AWAY as IT IS YOUR KAN-ED SUBSIDY CHECK.

Only those libraries who completed an application to:

1. Become a member of KAN-ED

AND

2. Completed and submitted the online KAN-ED Subsidy application will
receive this subsidy check.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Subsidy funds MUST be expended by December 1, 2003

2. Subsidy funds MUST be used for specific items. See the letter that
comes with your check for more details.

3. You MUST complete a short online subsidy acceptance info survey. Be on
the lookout for an e-mail from KAN-ED telling you how to get to the survey
site. BE SURE THAT YOU COMPLETE THIS.

4. For those libraries I have been working with on various projects that
were contingent on KAN-ED funding, please contact me once you recieve your
subsidy check so that I can schedule time to meet with you so we can move
