COX PROJECT KIDS

UPDATE! [05-29-2003]

COX Project KIDS Libraries are now encouraged to apply for KAN-ED Membership and Subsidies. According to KAN-ED Director, Hal Gardner, KAN-ED Funding should not jeapordize free access that COX Project KIDS Libraries are receiving according to what KAN-ED has been told by COX Communications.

It is uncertain how Project KIDS will tie into KAN-ED. So, I recommend that Project KIDS Libraries wait until this issue is further clarified before signing up for KAN-ED... OR you can contact Kristin Peck at COX for further clarification.

As far as an official statement form COX this is what I have.

"As for the KAN-ED application, please go ahead and send in to KAN-ED without a signature from Cox. We have been in contact with KAN-ED, and it is no longer expecting a provider signature on the application for the consortium."
