Interns may work with SCKLS staff and with member librarians in our twelve-county Kansas service area. The paid internship can be designed to assist the intern in developing experience in the following areas:

  • Administration
  • Automation/Technology
  • Interlibrary Loan/Cataloging
  • Instruction/Training/Continuing Education
  • Programming for Adults/Youth
  • General Library Service
  • Directed Research

  • Any graduate of a library course of study who was employed for at least 2 consecutive years and who desires to return to library employment after an  absence of greater than 5 years.
