SCKLS Email Groups Transition

On January 1, 2024, South Central Kansas Library System transitioned to solely using Constant Contact, an email and marketing platform, to send information to member libraries. All member libraries who were subscribed to the following SCKLS Email Groups-- SCKLS MAIN, SCKLS ACADEMIC, SCKLS PUBLIC, SCKLS USD, SCKLS SPECIAL—have been migrated to their respective Constant Contact email groups.  Through Constant Contact you’ll continue to receive relevant information about SCKLS grants, services and trainings.

Why the change?

For more than 20 years, SCKLS listservs have been hosted by the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), but the service has been discontinued and SCKLS has chosen Constant Contact as an attractive and affordable replacement.  SCKLS uses email as our official means of communicating with member libraries and new library directors are automatically subscribed to the SCKLS main email group.

Email postings for your library

Constant Contact does not allow subscribers to submit posts or to “reply” to the list as a whole, so if your library has a job opening, items for sale or to giveaway, or other information you wish to share, SCKLS encourages you to use the KANLIB-L ListServ.  KANLIB-L is an open forum for topics of interest to Kansas libraries and librarians.  The posting e-mail address is:  kanlib-l@lists.ku.edu  If you are not currently subscribed to KANLIB-L, you can subscribe at: https://lists.ku.edu/listinfo/kanlib-l
