Kansas Children’s Internet Protection Act Guidance

All Kansas public libraries are required to comply with the Kansas Children’s Internet Protect Act (KS-CIPA). The law designates the State Library of Kansas, Topeka as the official administrative authority. “The state librarian shall establish standards and promulgate rules and regulations for the enforcement of the provisions of this act.” (March 14, 2014)

SCKLS does not purchase, install, or provide technical support for filtering solutions other than DNSFilter. While we support DNSFilter as a filtering solution, SCKLS does not endorse any vendor.
