The South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) does not purchase, install or support microfilm reader-printers.

SCKLS recommends member libraries seeking a microfilm reader-printer solution work with a vendor who provides and supports a total solution. (computer + microfilm reader-printer + necessary software + install + support)

Due to compatibility issues SCKLS has faced in the past with microfilm reader-printers and the computers they connect to, SCKLS will not spec out, purchase, install or support any computer used for this purpose.

Microfilm reader-printer solutions are an eligible item for SCKLS General Technology Grants.
